It looks like the issues are exclusive to the Xbox One version. If this is a game you can't live without, get it on another platform. They're not worth contacting, Refund this **** if you bought it, don't buy it if you haven't yet. Most people are just refunding without contacting the devs. They've made a mess of this port and they have no intention of fixing it. From what I've read from other people having issues while looking for a solution here, they operate by putting people off until they either refund the game or they try the millionth time and it magically decides to work for no logical reason.If you're having issues, it's not you, it's them. They use scripted replies that ignore the original support request and any information present.
